What is the "Link Duration" shown for predecessor links? Where does this value come from? Is it calculated, and if so, how? What impact does it have on scheduling? Thank you.

Hello,
Link Duration is the Duration between the Finish Date (Predecessor) and Start Date (Successor) of the 2 linked tasks. A Link Duration will only appear if tasks are manually set to occur on specific dates within the schedule. This duration represents the amount of time that the Predecessor may shift before it comes into conflict with the successor, and therefore the successor will shift as well.
In your example, this means "Row 18 Provide Shipper Samples" can be delayed 4 days before its successor "Row 22 For mechanical studies" would be affected by that delay.
Thanks for your quick reply. I am not aware of having set any manual start dates in my project. How can I quickly find and remove those so that there are no manual start dates assigned?
