Just wanted to verify that at present, we cannot modify the fill or font colors on the timeline. A petty detail that I am asked about all the time. Many clients are accustomed to specific color combinations for their timelines and want me to adjust accordingly.

AEC Software Support Rep Hi Charlie,
Which Fill/Font Colors are you speaking of?
Font Colors in the Timeline Units can easily be changed by selecting any unit displayed, this will highlight all labels for this unit. You can then go to the Font toolbar and change any of the font settings.
You can change the color of the non-work shading as well as applying alternate row shading by going to Format > View. Within the Display tab you can easily change these colors or patterns to anything you would like.
You can also switch to the Gridlines tab in Format Schedule View to change how all gridlines appear, you can select the style of line, color and size of the lines displayed.

Charlie Heckman My desire is to modify the fill color of the timeline units. I see that I can change the font color (thanks!) and I can modify the grid colors and patterns. What I would like to do is to change the background color of the timeline scale. At present it is a gray color (looks like a system color) that I can not seem to be able to alter.

AEC Software Support Rep Hi Charlie,
This is an application defined color and is not currently something that can be changed.
I'll make sure to add the ability to change this color to our list of feature requests to see if our Development team can add that into our next version.
