Use submittal logs to store rounds of submittals and their status, dates received, and dates returned. Submittal log fields have options for including an extra set of dates, calculating durations, and their subfields.

Submittal log fields are made up of subfields of different types. While submittal logs contain some subfields by default, you can also add and delete your own, just like in the Define Fields dialog.

Change the name of a subfield |
Select the subfield in the list, enter the new name in the Subfield Name entry box, and then click Enter Changes. |

Change the options for a subfield |
Select the subfield in the list and click the Setup button. The options in that dialog are determined by the field type. |

Add a new custom subfield |
Click the New button, enter a name, and click Enter Changes. |
|
Delete a custom subfield |
Select the subfield in the list and click Delete. This will delete all data in that subfield. |
|
Move a custom subfield |
Click the Move cell, the leftmost cell, on the line of subfield in the list and drag up or down. |

Change a custom subfield’s type |
Select the subfield in the list, choose the new type from the Subfield Type pop-up list, and then click Enter Changes. |
